Ghulam Nabi Lone killed in Militant attack

Jammu and Kashmir Minister of State for Education Ghulam Nabi Lone was killed on Tuesday morning when militants attacked his residence in the high security Tulsibagh.
Two militants entered his residence at around 9 a.m. and opened fire and hurled a grenade killing the minister on the spot. However, in a counter attack by the security forces, one of the two militants was killed while the other one remained hidden on the premises.
One Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) solider was also killed in the attack, while another jawan was seriously injured.
