Militants killed two jawans in Doda

Two army jawans were killed in an pre-dawn ambush with militants in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

On specific information, army troops launched an operation in Gandoh tehsil of Doda district in the wee hours.

As they were heading for the operation, militants ambushed them at Gandna area resulting in a firefight in which two jawans were killed.

The sources said adding additional troops have been rushed to the area to intensify the operation to track down the militants.
