Bahu Fort- Jammu

Bahu Fort is situated 5kms. on the rock face on the left bank of the river Tawi in Jammu. Bahu fort is the oldest fort and edifice in the Jammu. This fort was constructed originally by Raja Bahulochan over 3,000 year ago.

The existing fort was more recently improved and built by the Dogra rulers. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kali inside the fort. An extensive terraced garden, known as Bagh-e-Bahu, has been developed around the fort.
