Nishat Garden in Srinagar
Asif Khan, the brother of Mughal Empress Nur Jehan, built this beautiful Garden in Srinagar in 1633. These are among the largest of the Mughal gardens. The garden is on the banks of Dal Lake.
This terraced garden offers some magnificent views of the lake. The Garden have numerous terraces, beautiful lawns, beautiful flowers and fountains. Tourists can also enjoy Shikara rides up to the Nehru Park from here.
This garden is well known for Chinar trees. There are also some shopping stalls opposite the garden.
