Ranbir Canal in Jammu

Ranbir canal was built in 1870. It is situated 2kms from Jammu. It has a small garden which provides a cool picnic spot during the summer. These gardens provide excellent walkways and viewpoints of the surrounding areas.

This Canal branches off from the river Chenab at Akhnoor which is 32 kms. away. Its water remains ice cold throughout the year. Large no. of tourists visit every day in the summer to have a cool breeze.
